Your morning routine might be affecting your business more than you realize.
For years, I loved watching “perfect morning routine” videos and wondering if I could create that same structure in my own life.
But eventually, I lost the routine that once made me feel disciplined, focused, and productive.
In this episode of Poised in Progress, I get honest about what happened, how I became too comfortable, and why I struggled to get back to the version of myself who used to thrive on structure.

After realizing I needed to make a change, I started learning more about neuroscience, neuroplasticity, habits, and how the brain responds to the things we repeatedly do. That completely changed the way I approached my mornings.

In this episode, we talk about:
Why I stopped trying to copy other people’s morning routines
How I use my environment to make habits easier
Why I keep my phone away from my bed
How hygiene became part of my “wake up” process
Why making your bed can create momentum
How movement affects the way I approach my day
Why consistency matters more than having a perfect routine
How I use my morning to prepare myself for business and everyday life
This isn’t a “wake up at 5 AM and become a millionaire” video.
It’s a conversation about creating a morning that helps you actually show up for the life you’re trying to build.
If you’re rebuilding your discipline, growing a business, working toward a big goal, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, I hope this episode gives you something you can actually use.

Have you ever wondered why you can be motivated for a few days… and then completely fall off?
In this episode of Poised in Progress, we’re talking about consistency—but not in the typical “just work harder” way.
I’ve been studying neuroscience and learning more about neuroplasticity, and it’s completely changed how I think about habits, discipline, and consistency.
In this episode, I break down the strategies I’ve personally been using to train my brain to make consistency feel more natural—from connecting habits to emotion, simplifying the things that feel overwhelming, planning without creating unnecessary pressure, and using accountability to actually follow through.
And I’m sharing real examples from my own life—from getting back into fitness after stepping away from it to staying consistent with my esthetics business and getting back into podcasting.
If you’ve been struggling to stay consistent with your goals, business, fitness, content, or personal growth, this episode is for you.
You don’t necessarily need more motivation. You may need a better way to train your brain.

The Advice That Changed Everything Before I Went Full-Time
For the first time in a few months, I’m finally back behind the microphone.
Taking a break wasn’t easy, but it gave me something I didn’t realize I was missing: clarity. I spent the last few months building my business, preparing for nursing school, and figuring out what I actually want Poised in Progress to be. Now that I’m back, I know exactly who this podcast is for.
If you’ve ever found yourself asking…
“When will I finally be able to quit my job?”
“How do people actually make their business their full-time income?”
“What am I missing?”
…this episode is for you.
Going full-time wasn’t luck, and it definitely wasn’t overnight. It came from changing the way I thought, the habits I built, and the decisions I made every single day.
In this episode, I share some of the biggest mindset shifts that helped me stop treating my business like a side hustle and start building it like my future depended on it. We also talk about why most people stay stuck, how distractions quietly delay your success, and one habit that completely changed the way I show up every day.
Some of these lessons were uncomfortable to learn. Others completely changed how I approach entrepreneurship. Either way, they’re things I wish someone had told me when I was just getting started.
I won’t spoil everything here because I want us to have that conversation together.
If you’re serious about building a business that gives you freedom—not just extra income—I think you’ll take away something valuable from this episode.
🎙️ Listen to the full episode here, and let me know which lesson challenged you the most.
I’d love to hear what part of your journey you’re in and what “going full-time” looks like for you.
See you in the episode,
Aria

This episode is both a conversation and a commitment. I’m sharing why I believe some people get ahead because they gave themselves permission to be seen, take risks, and occupy space unapologetically. I’m also stepping into that mindset myself. If you’ve been playing small, waiting, or doubting your place— this episode is your reminder that you don’t need permission to go after what you want.

This week, I challenged myself to start living after work—from going to the gym, trying pickleball for the first time, taking myself on a solo movie date, and just being more present in my life.
